Coverage

The Privacy Policy covers the Site, its App, its transactions, its electronic newsletters and its e-mails. Websites that have links on the Site may collect information about you on their websites. Their practices are not covered by this document.

Cookies and web beacons

A cookie is a small piece of data sent to your Internet browser by a Web server and stored on your computer or on smartphone. A cookie cannot read data from your device memory or read cookie files created by other Web sites. Cookies do not damage your system.

A Web beacon is a transparent graphic image, usually the size of a pixel, which is placed on a web site or in an e-mail to monitor the users’ behaviors.

We use cookies and web beacons to understand traffic patterns, to remember your membership status so that you don’t have to login each time you visit our Site and to provide you with content better tailored to your needs. We refer to Cookie for any cookies, web beacons or similar technologies that collect information in this way.

We also may deploy Cookies with selected third-party companies to collect and assemble non-personal, technical, behavioral, or demographic information about you. This information cannot identify you and might be used in combination with your visits on other sites. This information will provide you a better user experience and measure audiences with more accuracy.

Some Cookies monitor the performance of our Site and analyze how our visitors use it. This allows us to provide a high-quality experience and help us to identify and fix any issues that arise. For instance, we use performance cookies to identify the most popular pages and to determine why some pages are receiving error pages.

Some Cookies allow us to remember your preferences. For example, Cookies save you the trouble of typing your email and your password every time you access the Site.

Some Cookies tell us whether our emails are opened and verify any clicks to our content within these emails. We may use this information to see which of our emails are more interesting to our users and useful to query whether users who do not open our emails wish to continue receiving them.

IP addresses

Every computer connected to the Internet is given a domain name and a set of numbers that serve as that computer's address. This address is named "Internet Protocol" or IP address. The domain name and IP address reveal nothing personal about you other than the IP address from which you have accessed our Site. We read this information from your browser (information provided by every user’s browser). We also read the URL that you just came from and the URL you next go to.

Data we collect on the Executives

Regarding Company information and Executive information (Content), we only collect and post publicly-available and verifiable information such as company name, industry, website, phone, country of registration, and executive name, title, business e-mail, gender, and reporting lines.

We might also check and complete this information through publicly-available data from company sites or from renowned, reliable media. We cover Executives belonging to companies with a revenue over 100 Million US$ on the three top reporting levels of these companies.

At any moment, any User can contact us to report an error at [email protected]. If necessary, we will suspend the publication until we have carried out inquiries or investigations into the information’s accuracy and validity.

As an Executive, you can limit and restrict the use of the Content about you in accordance with applicable laws. You can ask us for a copy of the Content about you at [email protected]

Some limited portions of the Content can be printed or downloaded to selected Users through Premium or VIP memberships and to selected, renowned companies through corporate memberships. We do not control Content that has been copied out of our Service.

We also use the Content to check the accuracy of the new incoming information about an Executive or Company.

At any time, any User may change their User profile and their User preferences in their account or by following the instruction at the end of every email.

Please change your password on a regular basis and do not share it with anyone. Ultimately, you are solely responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your personal information stored in your Member or App account.
