But what can be done to overcome this? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Inc. <\/em>contributor Matt Plummer identifies four not so obvious and even counter intuitive solutions: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>First<\/strong>, think in terms of <strong>high \u201cpresent value.\u201d<\/strong> This means that investing time up front to establish productivity processes or rituals very commonly saves time later. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Second<\/strong>, even though it may be tempting, cease thinking in terms of perfection in your work products. <strong>Perfection \u201cis really a non-goal,\u201d <\/strong>Plummer writes. \u201cRather, aim to maximize impact,\u201d he writes.
