Most hiring processes still start with a checklist \u2014 degrees, titles, and years of experience. But in today\u2019s fast-moving world, those lists often miss the qualities that truly move companies forward: hunger, adaptability, and the will to win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The best hire isn\u2019t always the perfect one on paper. Someone who\u2019s slightly less experienced but deeply driven can outperform a more credentialed hire who lacks curiosity or urgency. Boards and hiring managers that focus only on functional skills risk overlooking people who could bring extraordinary energy and resilience to their teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
