Barb was Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Ford of Europe, and Vice President, Product Development at Ford of Europe. Ms. Samardzich also serves as a non-executive director on the board of AB SKF, BRP, Inc. and Velodyne LiDAR, sits on the Board of Trustees for Lawrence Technological University, and is a member of the Presidents Global Advisory Council at Carnegie-Mellon University. Barb Samardzich joined Adient in 2016. Among her many honors, Ms. Samardzich was named one of the 25 Leading Women in European Auto Industry by “Automotive News” in 2016, an “Automobilwoche” magazine Top 50 Automotive Women (Frauen der Autobranche) for 2011 and an “Automotive News” All Star for 2009 and 2010.
